charity-minded amateurs in an effort to provide healthful, balanced
meals for insects, birds and animals.

We couldn't resist! What's a backyard without a garden with lots of yummy vegetables? The three of us (Paul, Bel, and Kara) worked hard for 2 days building our raised garden. Boy were we proud of our work when we were done!
Step 1: build a 4' x 6' rectangle out of pressure-treated wood.
Step 3: Dig out grass in middle. (not the smartest way to do this)
We will let you know when we are actually reaping the fruits of our labors!
This is the best kind of work because you get all dirty and sweaty, then you eventually get to eat the fresh goodness you planted! Thanks for letting me be apart of it. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah for the gardners!! Can't wait to see! My tomatoes are a sad sight, and my basil is about dead, but my spinach still looks hopeful! (I keep hopefully babying my tomatoes in sad attempts of initiating recovery)
ReplyDeleteMy garden is growing too!!! Unlike last year when it all just never came up and the tomato plants shiveled away. The rain has been good for the plants, but not for our muddy driveway. Keep an eye out for Mr bunny rabbit!
